UTR Flex India: India’s First UTR Flex League
AJ Sports Academy is bringing UTR Flex to India, marking another major milestone in the growth of UTR-based competitive tennis in the country.
AJ Sports Academy has completed a fully signed agreement with Universal Tennis to serve as Flex League Manager for UTR Flex Leagues in India.
Through this agreement, AJ Sports Academy will organise and administer UTR Flex League sessions in India in coordination with the UTR Flex Leagues team.
The agreement provides for up to nine Flex League sessions per year, with AJ Sports Academy responsible for player recruitment, registrations, draws, marketing, player communication and league administration through the Universal Tennis platform.
The launch will mark India’s first UTR Flex League.
Two milestones. One journey.
From Maharashtra’s first UTR tournament to India’s first UTR Flex League
This is not AJ Tennis Academy’s first milestone with UTR competition. AJ Tennis Academy previously became the first organisation to host a UTR tournament in Maharashtra.
That event helped introduce additional UTR-based competitive opportunities to players in Maharashtra and was followed by further UTR competition organised by AJ Tennis Academy.

Competition, on your schedule
What is UTR Flex India?
UTR Flex India will provide players with structured competitive match opportunities while offering greater scheduling flexibility than a traditional weekend tournament.
Instead of requiring every match to be played at the same venue during one tournament weekend, players can arrange their assigned matches during the league window.
This gives players more opportunities to compete regularly while fitting matches around school, work, training and tournament schedules.
